Love and Information: Context

What is Love and Information about?

Love and information is a play that is split into seven sections, within these sections you have a bunch of scenes that can be rearranged which ever way the director wants. As long as it’s still in the same section. This is the director creative diverse.
What do the seven sections mean?
The sections mean the sections most important time periods in her life. This is what it represents. This is why you can’t change the order of the seven sections.
The play asks us to consider how meaning is constructed and to participate in the process. The script has few stage directions, the characters are not gendered, the scenes can appear in a different order, and there are some random scenes which can be inserted anywhere in the play. This gives any director and company broad scope for creative input. Love and Information is a kaleidoscopic play of short scenes addressing contemporary issues about knowledge, technology and communication, and our capacity for love.

The word information is a noun. The noun means, facts provided or learned about something or someone. The purpose of an information system is to turn raw data into information that can be used for decision mailing in an organisation. Many information systems are designed to support a particular process within an organisation or to carry out specific analysis. Also information is the resolution of   uncertainty it is that which answers the question of what an entity is and thus defines both its essence and nature of its characteristics.  However information could be a simple sentence  such as I  own a dog called brownie.

Overall the theme of the play was knowledge of an affair. Which is pointed out very clearly in the scene called affair.
